Welcome to City Church Sheffield — especially if you're a new student in Sheffield! We are a community of people of different ages and backgrounds, brought together by a passion for Jesus. Church is not just a series of meetings, but a living and active group of people, worshipping God together in unity and seeking to bring His good news to our city, our nation and the rest of the world.

We would love you to join us on Sunday. Normally we meet at 9:30am and 11.30am at the Jubilee Centre; and 3.30pm at the Shirecliffe Community Centre. On the last Sunday of the month, we meet All Together at the Jubilee Centre at 10:30am.

Our next meetings are on Sunday 11th December - 9:30 and 11:30 at the Jubilee Centre, and 3:30 at the Shirecliffe Centre.

Vision

We are called City Church Sheffield because we are a church wanting to reach the whole city with the good news about Jesus. We want to start 7 congregations all over Sheffield, serving every area as God leads us.

Where We Meet

On Sundays we gather in three congregations that meet in the north and near the centre of Sheffield. At 9:30am and 11.30am we meet at the Jubilee Centre just off Ecclesall Road; and at 3.30pm we can be found at the Shirecliffe Community Centre.

On the last Sunday of the month we meet All Together at the Jubilee Centre at 10:30am.

Christianity

At the heart of the Christian faith is the belief that we are all made to know God. Not just to believe in Him generally, but to know Him personally. This is made possible because of Jesus.

History

City Church Sheffield began life in 1997. Initially meeting in Walkley, we moved to buy and renovate the Jubilee Centre on Wilson Road near Hunter's Bar, where we began meeting in 2000. The whole process taught us valuable lessons about faith and prayer, and the move itself gave us a new focus on the whole city.
