Life Groups - West

Life Groups are one of the ways we live out our Vision as City Church Sheffield. To hear more on our Vision, there are a series of recordings available here. Life Groups meet at a variety of times and in a range of locations around Sheffield. They run for 10 weeks with a fresh set of Life Groups being offered three times a year.

The next Life Groups will be starting week commencing 30 September 2019. You will be able to sign-up here from 12:30pm on 15 September 2019. Do feel free to chat through any questions you have with the leaders of any group you are thinking of joining. When you sign-up, you will receive an automatic confirmation email, and your leader will be in touch before the group starts with any final details.

Finding Freedom

By using Neil Anderson's 'Steps to Freedom in Christ' as well as other material, we will be helped to identify experiences and thinking patterns which may be a hindrance to our faith or even hold us in bondage. Gently, and in a non-confrontational way, we will allow the Holy Spirit to shine His light into us in a way that brings us into more of the freedom that He has won for us. Includes group discussion and prayer and assumes all participants are already Christians.

ManWalk

Wednesday, 20:00-22:00, Various
Led by: Neil Fletcher

ManWalk is a discipleship group that seeks to encourage men to walk with Jesus. Every other week we will meet in a home to talk, pray, and “spur one another to love and good works”. In the other weeks we will probably do something social. The social events will be free of charge. Last summer we: had a meal, played pitch and put golf, (did not) escape from an escape room, and went for a couple of walks. If you would like to find out more please talk to Matt Green, Ivan Lawrow, or Neil Fletcher. Remember that “by this all men will know that you are my disciples, when you have love for one another.”
