Welcome to City Church Sheffield. We are a community of people of different ages and backgrounds, brought together by a passion for Jesus. Church is not just a series of meetings, but a diverse family, worshipping God together in unity and seeking to bring His good news to our city, our nation and the rest of the world.

We would love you to join us on Sunday. The West congregation meets at The Jubilee Centre with refreshments from 10.00am, and the meeting starting at 10.30am. The North congregation meets at Shirecliffe Community Centre with refreshments served from 2.30pm, and the meeting starting at 3.00pm. On the last Sunday of the month, we meet All Together at The Jubilee Centre with refreshments from 10.00am and the meeting starting at 10.30am.

There will be no meetings on Sunday 25th August, as we will be at our Church group weekend away, Devoted.

We are called City Church Sheffield because we are a church wanting to reach the whole city with the good news about Jesus, serving in every area of the city as God leads.

Where We Meet

On Sundays we normally gather in two congregations. At 10.30am we meet at The Jubilee Centre, with coffee from 10.00am; and at 3.00pm we can be found at the Shirecliffe Community Centre, with coffee from 2.30pm.

On the last Sunday of the month we meet All Together at The Jubilee Centre at 10.30am, with coffee from 10.00am.

At the heart of the Christian faith is the belief that we are all made to know God. Not just to believe in Him generally, but to know Him personally. This is made possible because of Jesus.

City Church Sheffield began life in 1997. Initially meeting in Walkley, we moved to buy and renovate The Jubilee Centre on Wilson Road near Hunter's Bar, where we began meeting in 2000. The whole process taught us valuable lessons about faith and prayer, and the move itself gave us a new focus on the whole city.
